This is the reason why I believe that everyone needs to learn a way for emotional expression or emotional release of suppressed emotions. This is one of the best ways to protect yourself from disease and, from experience I know that it is the best way to heal a lot of health problems such as asthma, chronic back pain, digestive problems, heart problems and many other health condition (of course not all health conditions though).
Pushed down, emotional stress becomes illness, depression, anxiety, and addiction. Projected outward, it becomes hostility, aggression, and prejudice. However, all of us keep some emotional stress getting accumulated inside.
