In mainstream medicine, a common mistake is to think of disease as just a matter of some biochemical reactions that has gone wrong and that needs to be fixed using medications or surgery. If you want “real healing”, you need to think outside that box. Medications and surgery are sometimes important but they are by far not the only ways to approach disease.
For a good health, you need to keep monitoring your health and put a lot of your efforts on disease prevention especially once you get older than 40. For each disease, there are factors that increase the risk and factors that decrease the risk.
If you are susceptible to a certain disease, you need to learn (or more likely, to discover after an arduous journey) your risk factors. And you have got to discover these factors for yourself because your healthcare professional is not going to know them all. In addition, your body is unique and has its own risk factors that only you can discover.
Did You Know?
- Over 90% of health conditions have NO real cure – incurable!
- Many health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart failure are manageable with medications but still incurable. So, it is better to make sure you don’t get them in the first place.
- The list of diseases that can be cured, rather than just managed, is relatively very short.
